Handcraft a beautiful Japanese Tsumami Zaiku Chrysanthemum pendant from scratch UP $98
Workshop Descriptions
Join us for a Chusen Dyeing Tsumami Zaiku workshop and learn the traditional Japanese art of fabric folding, forming an elegant chrysanthemum flower pendant from your very own upcycled Chusen dyed fabric. Guided by Tsumami Zaiku Certified trainers, Ong Hui Ying and Jossie Pang from Palette Japan , this is a hands-on opportunity to learn a 200-year-old craft technique, guided step by step from start to finish. Each kit is made with Chusen dyed fabric, known for its soft, hand-poured gradients and rich, one-of-a kind colours. Instead of letting leftover fabric go to waste, we give it new life through Tsumami Zaiku, folding each petal by hand in the spirit of mottainai, the Japanese practice of honouring resources and never letting them go to waste. By the end of the session, you'll have crafted your own chrysanthemum flower pendant! 🌸 Learn authentic Tsumami Zaiku folding techniques 🌸 Form a beautiful chrysanthemum flower pendant 🌸 Made with upcycled Chusen dyed fabric 🌸 Suitable for beginners, no experience required In this special session, you’ll create your own Chrysanthemum Pendant, a symbol of longevity and rejuvenation in Japanese culture.
