Growing up surrounded by Japanese culture, I developed a love for the meaningful details in Japanese craftsmanship.

 

When I discovered Tsumami Zaiku on social media, I was captivated by how tiny pieces of colorful fabric create beautiful floral works.

This craft lets me express creativity through each small fold, while embracing wabi-sabi and mottainai values which I hope to share with future generations.
