What You Will Make A drawstring pouch finished with a delicate cherry blossom design, stitched entirely by hand using Sashiko. The Fabric Behind Every Stitch Each kit is made with Sakai Chusen fabric, a traditional dyed textile from Sakai, Osaka. What makes it special goes beyond its craftsmanship. This fabric comes from off-grade materials and overstock that sat unused at the factory for years, fabric that could no longer serve its original purpose, yet still carries the same beauty and quality Sakai Chusen is known for. Instead of letting it go to waste, we have given it new life, turning it into an upcycled craft kit you can be proud to make and use.
